Explore the Mother Road

Route 66

Route 66 has been a staple in our life since our childhoods. While we haven’t explored it all, we have put a lot of the miles under our tires. Check out some of the miles we racked up and the cities we’ve explored along America’s Main Street. It’s worth noting that we don’t limit our excursions to staying on the route. We love checking out stops nearby, as well.

Illinois

The western end of the Mother Road begins in Chicago, the land of skyscrapers. As you travel southward, you’ll discover tons of history and fun.

Missouri

From the St Louis Gateway Arch to the George Washington Carver Monument in Joplin, Missouri has tons of places to explore.

Kansas

Home to the shortest section of Route 66, Kansas packs a lot in just a few miles. Being our home state, we’re a little partial to this section.

Oklahoma

You’ll find just about everything in the Oklahoma stretch of Route 66. Whether you’re a foodie, adrenaline junkie, or a history buff.

Texas

Crossing the Panhandle of Texas you’ll see lots of color. Be sure to save time for some excursions to the surrounding areas. They are filled with unique attractions.
